Infants

We believe that even God's littlest ones can learn! Our Nursery provides regular learning experiences along with lessons that are reinforced with songs, play and activities designed with infants in mind.

What to expect
What to expect

Your child’s diaper bag
please include the following items:
1. Two or three disposable diapers. No cloth diapers, please.
2. Pacifier or any other security items, should your child need one.
3. If required, a complete change of clothes, just in case.
4. A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.

Before you arrive to the nursery please label all personal items with your child's first and last name. This will help us keep track of all your child's items.

Your Child's Health
For the protection of all the children at church, we cannot accept a child with a fresh cold (four days or less), a fever, runny nose, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the nursery while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you for helping us keep our nursery a healthy place for all.

When You Arrive At Nursery
A leader will meet you at the check-in area to receive your child and any other necessary items. Please check in and note any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies and special needs.  A leader will then clip a name tag to your child's back with his or her name on it.  You will take a picture of your child with his/her name tag. This picture will need to be presented at the time of pick up.  A child will not be released without presentation of the parent's corresponding photo.

Contacting Parents
We will contact you with the phone number provided by parent/guardian.

Safety
For your child’s safety as well as others, we do not allow other children or siblings, out of the nursery's age group, in the nursery. We expect all other children to attend age appropriate classes.

Saying Good-bye
After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our nursery leaders will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return after the worship service is completed. If your child cries for an extended period of time of 10 minutes, we will contact you.

Checking On Your Child
Feel free to check on your little one at any time during the worship service. However, we ask that you do so discreetly, trying not to let your child see you.

Nursing Mothers
Chairs are available in the nursery, if you need to feed your child.

Snacks
Snacks are provided for children that are able to walk. The food items consist of water or juice and Cheerios or crackers and fruit. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child. Note: Please do not bring personal snacks into the nursery. You may provide a sippy cup, if needed. This will help to avoid potential food allergies with other children.

Pick-up Procedures
Your child's leader will expect the same person to drop off and pick up each child unless they receive special instructions at time of check-in. Please check to see if all your child's personal items have been returned to you before you leave the premises. All lost and found items will be retained for one month.  Items not claimed after one month will be donated to a charitable organization.
